Landscape

For this school project, we had to immerse ourselves in one specific form of media for a period of time. I chose digital drawing, not because I hadn’t done it before, but because I usually limited myself to portraits. I wanted to challenge myself to explore other subjects, so I chose to draw a triptych of a landscape from Skyrim. This game was a huge influence in my childhood, and I often dreamed about this specific location (although this painting is more of a compilation of several places) and returned to it for several nights. With this work, I wanted to translate that dream into an image and at the same time try out new techniques.
